A bill for an act
relating to health; modifying the definition of doula services; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 148.995, subdivisions 2, 4.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 148.995, subdivision 2, is amended to read:


Subd. 2.

Certified doula.

"Certified doula" means an individual who deleted text begin has received

Education Association, the Doulas of North America (DONA), the Association of Labor
Assistants and Childbirth Educators (ALACE), Birthworks, Childbirth and Postpartum

Sec. 2.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 148.995, subdivision 4, is amended to read:
