A bill for an act
relating to commerce; authorizing the commissioner of public safety to issue
on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses to operators of certain vehicles for hire;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin The commissioner may issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license to the operator of
a vehicle described in section 169A.35, subdivision 6, paragraph (a), clauses (1) to (3). A
license issued under this section only authorizes the sale of intoxicating liquor to a bona
fide passenger who is actually being transported in interstate or intrastate commerce.
