  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to history; appropriating money to improve 
  1.3             the Moose Lake history museum. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [MOOSE LAKE HISTORY MUSEUM; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $50,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   Minnesota historical society for a grant to the Moose Lake area 
  1.8   historical society under Minnesota Statutes, section 138.93, to 
  1.9   predesign, design, construct, furnish, and equip an addition to 
  1.10  the Moose Lake depot and history museum to commemorate the fires 
  1.11  of 1918.  This appropriation is not available until the 
  1.12  Minnesota historical society has determined that an equal amount 
  1.13  has been committed by the Moose Lake area historical society 
  1.14  from nonstate sources. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.16     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
