  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to insurance; changing the date on which crop 
  1.3             hail insurance rates must be filed with the 
  1.4             commissioner; amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, 
  1.5             section 60A.32; repealing Minnesota Statutes 1994, 
  1.6             section 70A.06, subdivision 5. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 60A.32, is 
  1.9   amended to read: 
  1.10     60A.32 [RATE FILING FOR CROP HAIL INSURANCE.] 
  1.11     An insurer issuing policies of insurance against crop 
  1.12  damage by hail in this state shall file its insurance rates with 
  1.13  the commissioner.  The insurance rates must be filed before 
  1.14  April March 1 of the year in which a policy is issued. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.16     Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 70A.06, subdivision 5, is 
  1.17  repealed.
