  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the county of Pipestone; authorizing the 
  1.3             issuance of general obligation bonds for repair and 
  1.4             renovation of the county courthouse and annex. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [AUTHORIZATION.] 
  1.7      The county of Pipestone may issue its general obligation 
  1.8   bonds in a principal amount of not to exceed $598,000 to defray 
  1.9   the expense of repair and renovation of the county courthouse 
  1.10  and courthouse annex.  The bonds shall be issued in accordance 
  1.11  with Minnesota Statutes, chapter 475.  No further election 
  1.12  proceedings are required.  Minnesota Statutes, section 275.61, 
  1.13  shall apply to taxes levied to pay the bonds as if the bonds 
  1.14  were required to be approved and were approved by the voters. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.16     This act takes effect the day after the county board of 
  1.17  Pipestone county complies with Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.18  645.021, subdivision 3.
