A bill for an act
relating to transportation; designating a segment of marked Trunk Highway 5 in
Chanhassen as Prince Rogers Nelson Memorial Highway; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2022, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

The segment of marked Trunk
Highway 5 within the city limits of Chanhassen is designated "Prince Rogers Nelson
Memorial Highway." Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner must adopt a suitable
design to mark this highway and erect appropriate signs. The signs must be purple in color.
