  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Douglas county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; DOUGLAS COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, Douglas county shall sell the 
  1.10  tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.11  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.13     (b) The sale must be in a form approved by the attorney 
  1.14  general for consideration not less than the appraised value as 
  1.15  determined by the Douglas county board. 
  1.16     (c) The land to be sold is located in Douglas county and is 
  1.17  described as: 
  1.18     Lot 43, Block 1, Christinas Moon Lake Heights, Section 28, 
  1.19     Township 129 North, Range 39 West. 
  1.20     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.21  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  1.22  returned to private ownership.
