  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money to 
  1.3             highway user tax distribution fund. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      (a) For fiscal year 2001, $149,804,000 is appropriated from 
  1.7   the general fund and transferred to the highway user tax 
  1.8   distribution fund.  For fiscal year 2002, $161,723,000 is 
  1.9   appropriated from the general fund and transferred to the 
  1.10  highway user tax distribution fund. 
  1.11     (b) These appropriations are available until spent. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective the day following enactment.
