  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; appropriating money to 
  1.3             commissioner of transportation for payment of loan to 
  1.4             city of Brooklyn Park from metropolitan council's 
  1.5             right-of-way acquisition loan fund for costs related 
  1.6             to proposed trunk highway No. 610. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION; REIMBURSEMENT TO 
  1.9   METROPOLITAN COUNCIL.] 
  1.10     Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $517,800 is appropriated 
  1.11  from the trunk highway fund to the commissioner of 
  1.12  transportation for transfer to the metropolitan council.  The 
  1.13  commissioner shall transfer this amount by July 1, 1995.  The 
  1.14  council shall deposit this amount in the council's right-of-way 
  1.15  acquisition loan fund. 
  1.16     Subd. 2.  [SATISFACTION OF OBLIGATION.] Payment of the 
  1.17  amount specified in subdivision 1 to the metropolitan council 
  1.18  satisfies any obligation of the city of Brooklyn Park and the 
  1.19  city of Maple Grove for repayment of a loan from the 
  1.20  right-of-way acquisition loan fund to the city for environmental 
  1.21  impact statement costs relating to the proposed trunk highway 
  1.22  No. 610.  Payment of this amount is declared to be a trunk 
  1.23  highway purpose. 
  1.24     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.25     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
