  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [CONTRACT DEADLINE PENALTY GRANT; BIRD 
  1.8   ISLAND-OLIVIA-LAKE LILLIAN.] 
  1.9      $30,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2002 from the 
  1.10  general fund to the commissioner of children, families, and 
  1.11  learning for a grant to independent school district No. 2534, 
  1.12  Bird Island-Olivia-Lake Lillian, for state aid lost due to the 
  1.13  contract deadline penalty. 
  1.14     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective July 1, 2001.
