resources or students to advocate for legislation or
election candidate; proposing coding for new law in
Minnesota Statutes, chapter 123B.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin A school district or its employees must not use public
resources or students to produce, convey, or disseminate
materials or messages advocating the passage or defeat of a
ballot question, the passage or defeat of legislation pending in
the legislature, or the election of any candidate for public
office.
