A bill for an act
relating to appropriations; extending the availability of 2007 flood relief
appropriations.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin FLOOD RELIEF APPROPRIATION EXTENSION.

new text begin Funds appropriated or transferred to the Department of Natural Resources for
DR-1717 flood relief and recovery as provided in Laws 2007, First Special Session chapter
2, are available and applicable until June 30, 2010. Unused or excess funds currently
awarded under one contract may be utilized for flood relief and recovery elsewhere under
separate contract in the DR-1717 area as determined by the commissioner of natural
resources.
