A bill for an act
relating to local government; authorizing Carlton County to levy a tax for certain
cemetery purposes; amending Laws 1999, chapter 243, article 6, section 11.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Laws 1999, chapter 243, article 6, section 11, is amended to read:
Sec. 11. CEMETERY LEVY FOR SAWYER BY CARLTON COUNTY.

Section 1 applies to taxes payable in 2014 and thereafter, and is effective the day
after the Carlton county board of commissioners and its chief clerical officer timely
complete their compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3.
