  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; appropriating money for 
  1.3             removal of dead farm animals in certain counties. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; DEAD FARM ANIMALS.] 
  1.6      $20,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of agriculture for a grant to the dead animal 
  1.8   collection joint powers board formed by Marshall, Pennington, 
  1.9   Red Lake, and Roseau counties for the purpose of providing 
  1.10  collection service to remove dead farm animals.  
  1.11     The commissioner shall ensure that the grant is matched by 
  1.12  at least $10,000 from the dead animal collection joint powers 
  1.13  board before the funds are released.  This appropriation is 
  1.14  available until June 30, 1997.
