  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing private sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land in Washington county. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [PRIVATE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; WASHINGTON 
  1.6   COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding the public sale provisions of Minnesota 
  1.8   Statutes, chapter 282, or other law to the contrary, Washington 
  1.9   county may sell by private sale the tax-forfeited land described 
  1.10  in paragraph (c). 
  1.11     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.12  attorney general for a consideration of taxes due on the 
  1.13  property and any penalties, interest, and costs. 
  1.14     (c) The land to be sold is located in Washington county and 
  1.15  is described as:  Parcel number 2903021310185, city of Willernie.
  1.16     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.17  management interests would best be served if the land was 
  1.18  returned to private ownership.
