  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to recreational vehicles; requiring a permit 
  1.3             to use state snowmobile trails; proposing coding for 
  1.4             new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 84. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [84.8205] [SNOWMOBILE STATE TRAIL PERMIT.] 
  1.7      No snowmobile shall be operated on a state recreational 
  1.8   snowmobile trail unless the snowmobile operator has in 
  1.9   possession a snowmobile state trail permit.  The commissioner of 
  1.10  natural resources shall issue a permit upon application and 
  1.11  payment of a $10 fee.  The permit is valid for the calendar year 
  1.12  in which it is issued.  Fees collected under this section shall 
  1.13  be deposited in the state treasury and credited to the 
  1.14  snowmobile trails and enforcement account in the natural 
  1.15  resources fund.
