A bill for an act
 relating to veterans; eliminating the sunset date for
the purchase of military service credit; amending Laws
2000, chapter 461, article 4, section 4, as amended.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2000, chapter 461, article 4, section 4,
as amended by Laws 2003, First Special Session chapter 12,
article 6, section 3, and Laws 2004, chapter 267, article 17,
section 7, is amended to read:


Sec. 4EFFECTIVE DATE; SUNSET REPEALER.

(a) Sections 1, 2, and 3 are effective on the day following
final enactment.

(b) Sections 1, 2, and 3, are repealed on May 16, 2006.

Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.

Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
