 relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant for The Mixtape
Strategy to develop mixed-used building and business development incubator.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to The Mixtape Strategy to design,
construct, equip, and furnish a property located at 44th Avenue North, Camdentown,
Minneapolis. Property developed on this parcel may be mixed-use but must include an
entrepreneur incubator site to support businesses in the surrounding community.
