A bill for an act
relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to the Somali
Chamber of Commerce.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$600,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to
the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the Somali
Chamber of Commerce to support the growth and expansion of small businesses statewide.
Grant proceeds may be used for the cost of programming, outreach, staffing, and supplies.
This is a onetime appropriation.
