relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for cultural events.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CULTURAL EVENT SECURITY.

$1,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund
to the Board of the Minnesota Humanities Center for grants to organizations for the cost of
security for cultural events and community cultural activities. Priority must be given to
grants for events located in the Frogtown, Rondo, and West Side neighborhoods of St. Paul.
