A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a facility for United Hmong
Family, Inc.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; UNITED HMONG FAMILY, INC.

new text begin $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to United Hmong Family, Inc., a
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to acquire property for, predesign, design, construct,
renovate, furnish, and equip a facility in the city of Little Canada to provide space for United
Hmong Family, Inc., and other small, similar organizations to conduct meetings and trainings.
This appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is completed or abandoned,
subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
