 relating to natural resources; requiring local approval before removing dam on
Grindstone River.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin GRINDSTONE RIVER DAM REMOVAL; LOCAL APPROVAL.

new text begin The commissioner of natural resources may not remove the dam on the Grindstone River
located within the city of Hinckley unless the Hinckley City Council and the Pine County
Board approve the removal by a majority vote.
