A bill for an act
 relating to agriculture; appropriating money for a grant to the Center for Rural
Policy and Development.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CENTER FOR RURAL POLICY AND
DEVELOPMENT.

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of agriculture for a grant to the Center for Rural Policy and Development. This appropriation
is in addition to the appropriation in Laws 2021, First Special Session chapter 3, article 1,
section 2, subdivision 5, paragraph (h). The base for this appropriation is $150,000 in fiscal
year 2024 and beyond.
