A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for Independent School District
No. 2527, Norman County West, to demolish an unused school building in Halstad.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; NORMAN COUNTY WEST SCHOOL
DEMOLITION.

new text begin $350,000 in fiscal year 2021 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of education for a grant to Independent School District No. 2527, Norman County West, to
abate hazards, including asbestos; demolish the former Norman County West High School
structure in Halstad; and restore the site. new text end new text begin This is a onetime appropriation. This appropriation
is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes,
section 16A.642.
