relating to higher education; requiring a reverse credit transfer agreement.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin REVERSE CREDIT TRANSFER AGREEMENT FOR HIGHER
EDUCATION.

By July 2020, the commissioner of the Office of Higher Education shall create a statewide
higher education reverse credit transfer agreement through which at least 30 credits that a
student earns toward a bachelor's degree at any public, four-year institution in the state are
transferable to a community college in the state for credit toward an associate's degree.
