A bill for an act
relating to education finance; authorizing a fund transfer for Independent School
District No. 403, Ivanhoe.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. FUND TRANSFER; IVANHOE SCHOOL DISTRICT.
Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.79, 123B.80, or 124D.20, subdivision
10, on June 30, 2018, Independent School District No. 403, Ivanhoe, may permanently
transfer any amounts from its community education reserve fund balance and its school
readiness reserve account to its undesignated general fund.
EFFECTIVE DATE.
This section is effective the day following final enactment.
