A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Camp Ripley/Veterans
State Trail.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CAMP RIPLEY/VETERANS STATE TRAIL.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for a feasibility study for and engineering and construction of three
segments of the Camp Ripley/Veterans State Trail under Minnesota Statutes, section 85.015,
subdivision 28. The segments are:

new text begin (1) from the city of Little Falls to the Camp Ripley Military Museum;
new text end

new text begin (2) from Blanchard Dam in Morrison County to Lindbergh State Park; and
new text end

new text begin (3) from the Paul Bunyan Trail in the city of Baxter to the city of Pillager.

new text begin This appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is completed or abandoned,
subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
