relating to agriculture; canceling an appropriation; repealing the ethanol producer
payment program and the minimum ethanol content requirement; repealing
Minnesota Statutes 2006, sections 41A.09, subdivisions 1a, 2a, 3a, 4, 10;
239.791, subdivisions 1, 1a, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION CANCELED.

new text begin The appropriation in Laws 2007, chapter 45, article 1, section 3, subdivision 4,
from the general fund to the commissioner of agriculture for ethanol producer payments
in fiscal years 2008 and 2009 is canceled.

Sec. 2. new text begin REPEALER.

new text begin Minnesota Statutes 2006, sections 41A.09, subdivisions 1a, 2a, 3a, 4, and 10; and
239.791, subdivisions 1, 1a, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, new text end new text begin are repealed.

Sec. 3. new text begin EFFECTIVE DATE.

new text begin Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final enactment.
