  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to higher education; appropriating money to 
  1.3             the board of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges 
  1.4             and universities to cover certain health care 
  1.5             insurance cost increases. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $1,878,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal 
  1.9   year 2001 to the board of trustees of the Minnesota state 
  1.10  colleges and universities for distribution to colleges and 
  1.11  universities whose health care insurance costs increased above 
  1.12  the statewide average cost increase for the Minnesota state 
  1.13  colleges and universities system.
