A bill for an act
relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for a grant to the
Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; FUNDING FOR THE MINNESOTA MILITARY
AND VETERANS MUSEUM.

$275,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund to
the Minnesota Historical Society for a grant to the Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum
at Camp Ripley for the restoration, relocation, and interpretation of the USS Ward Number
Three Gun and World War II display. This appropriation is available until June 30, 2026.
