A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; modifying the 2014 appropriation of bond
proceeds for the Heritage Village Park in Inver Grove Heights; amending Laws
2014, chapter 294, article 1, section 17, subdivision 6.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2014, chapter 294, article 1, section 17, subdivision 6, is amended to
read:

Subd. 6. Inver Grove Heights - Heritage Village Park

2,000,000

new text begin $1,500,000 of this appropriation is new text end for a
grant to the city of Inver Grove Heights
for public infrastructure improvements
and land acquisition in and adjacent to the
Heritage Village Park, the Mississippi River
Trail, and the Rock Island Swing Bridge.
new text begin $500,000 of this appropriation is for a grant
to Dakota County for public infrastructure
improvements related to the Mississippi
River Trail project. new text end These improvements will
include but are not limited to motor vehicle
access, utility service, stormwater treatment,
and trail and sidewalk connections. This
appropriation is not available until the
commissioner of management and budget
has determined that at least an equal amount
has been committed to the project from
nonstate sources.
