A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Hope House crisis
shelter in the city of Excelsior.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin HOPE HOUSE CRISIS SHELTER.

new text begin $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the Open Hands Foundation to
construct, furnish, and equip improvements for renovation of the Hope House crisis shelter
located at 3010 West 78th Street in the city of Excelsior. This appropriation is onetime and
is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes,
section 16A.642.
