A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; designating the bridge on marked U.S. Highway 212
over the Minnesota River in the city of Granite Falls as "Mayor Dave Smiglewski
Memorial Bridge"; amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 161.14, by adding
a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

Highway 212 over the Minnesota River in the city of Granite Falls is designated as "Mayor
Dave Smiglewski Memorial Bridge." Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner must
adopt a suitable design to mark the bridge and erect appropriate signs.
