relating to capital investment; appropriating money for Mora Lake high water
mitigation.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; HIGH WATER MITIGATION; MORA.

new text begin $1,700,000 in fiscal year 2021 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for a grant to the city of Mora for measures to mitigate high water in
Mora Lake, including installing intake and outlet structures and replacing the associated
sanitary sewer and road. This appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is
completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642. This appropriation
does not require a nonstate match.
