  1.2             relating to education; modifying the calculation of 
  1.3             debt service equalization for independent school 
  1.4             district No. 300, La Crescent-Hokah. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [LA CRESCENT-HOKAH; DEBT SERVICE EQUALIZATION.] 
  1.7      For the purpose of calculating debt service equalization, 
  1.8   donations for capital improvements received before June 30, 
  1.9   2000, to independent school district No. 300, La Crescent-Hokah, 
  1.10  must be considered as part of the percentage that is required to 
  1.11  be raised locally under Minnesota Statutes, section 124.95, 
  1.12  subdivision 3.
