  1.3             additional days of student instruction mandated for 
  1.4             the 1998-1999 school year; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $66,000,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1999 from the 
  1.8   general fund to the department of children, families, and 
  1.9   learning to compensate school districts for the three additional 
  1.10  days of student instruction during the 1998-1999 school year 
  1.11  under Minnesota Statutes, section 120.1015.
