  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   council on Black Minnesotans to assist in planning and 
  1.10  coordinating observances of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday 
  1.11  and other events honoring Martin Luther King, Jr.  This 
  1.12  appropriation is available until June 30, 1999.
