  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing private sale of 
  1.3             certain surplus state land. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [PRIVATE SALE OF SURPLUS STATE LAND; CASS 
  1.6   COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 94.10, the 
  1.8   commissioner of administration shall sell to Cass county the 
  1.9   surplus land that is described in paragraph (c). 
  1.10     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.11  attorney general for consideration of no more than $140,000. 
  1.12     (c) The land to be sold is approximately 107.2 acres 
  1.13  located in Cass county and is generally described as the land 
  1.14  labeled as "undeveloped" and "county" on the topographical 
  1.15  survey prepared by Landecker & Associates, Inc. and dated August 
  1.16  16, 2002. 
  1.17     (d) The land is currently part of the Ah-Gwah-Ching 
  1.18  regional treatment center campus and was declared surplus state 
  1.19  property, approved by the executive council on December 5, 2001.
