  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to veterans; authorizing placement of a 
  1.3             plaque in the court of honor to memorialize veterans 
  1.4             wounded in combat. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [COMBAT-WOUNDED VETERANS PLAQUE.] 
  1.7      The Military Order of the Purple Heart may place a plaque 
  1.8   in the court of honor on the capitol mall to honor 
  1.9   combat-wounded veterans.  The design of the plaque is subject to 
  1.10  approval by the capitol area architectural and planning board.  
  1.11  Manufacture and placement of the plaque must be at no cost to 
  1.12  the state.
