A bill for an act
 relating to economic development; extending business subsidy reporting
requirements to all recipients of business development public infrastructure
grants and redevelopment grants; amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section
116J.431, by adding a subdivision; Minnesota Statutes 2005 Supplement, section
116J.575, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 116J.431, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Notwithstanding the definitions of business
subsidy and recipient in section 116J.993, all recipients of grants under this section
must comply with the requirements for recipients of business subsidies under sections
116J.993 to 116J.995.

Sec. 2.

Minnesota Statutes 2005 Supplement, section 116J.575, is amended by adding
a subdivision to read:
