  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money and 
  1.3             authorizing bonds for improvements to fish facilities 
  1.4             and wildlife management areas. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $7,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to 
  1.8   the commissioner of natural resources.  Of this appropriation, 
  1.9   $3,000,000 is for RIM improvements of a capital nature to 
  1.10  develop, improve, or rehabilitate fish culture facilities and 
  1.11  $4,000,000 is for RIM improvements of a capital nature to 
  1.12  protect, develop, or improve wildlife management areas in the 
  1.13  state. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE.] 
  1.15     To provide the money appropriated in section 1 from the 
  1.16  bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on request of 
  1.17  the governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an 
  1.18  amount up to $7,000,000 in the manner, on the terms, and with 
  1.19  the effect prescribe by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 
  1.20  16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 
  1.21  4 to 7. 
  1.22     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.23     Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final 
  1.24  enactment.
