  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             an engineering analysis of flooding problems along 
  1.4             Twin lake in Washington county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [TWIN LAKE ENGINEERING ANALYSIS; 
  1.7   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $10,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the 
  1.10  Marine-on-St. Croix watershed management organization for an 
  1.11  engineering analysis of flooding problems along Twin lake.  
  1.12  Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 103F.161, 
  1.13  subdivision 2, paragraph (c), the appropriation may be combined 
  1.14  with a flood hazard mitigation grant previously awarded to the 
  1.15  watershed management organization and state funding may exceed 
  1.16  one-half of the total cost of the project.
