relating to employment; requiring employers to notify employees of their right to
access and review personnel records; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota
Statutes, chapter 181.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin An employer shall provide written notice to all employees, and to a job applicant
upon hire, of the rights and remedies provided in sections 181.960 to 181.965. An
employer shall also post in an appropriate and conspicuous location on the employer's
premises notice of these rights and remedies.
