  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             proposing an amendment to the Minnesota Constitution, 
  1.3             article XIII, by adding a section; affirming the right 
  1.4             of citizens to hunt or take game and fish. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT PROPOSED.] 
  1.7      An amendment to the Minnesota Constitution, article XIII, 
  1.8   by adding a section, is proposed to the people.  If the 
  1.9   amendment is adopted, the section will read as follows: 
  1.10     Sec. 12.  The citizens shall have the privilege to fish, 
  1.11  hunt, and take game subject only to restrictions as prescribed 
  1.12  by law. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [SUBMISSION TO VOTERS.] 
  1.14     The proposed amendment must be submitted to the people at 
  1.15  the 1996 general election.  The question submitted shall be: 
  1.16     "Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to affirm the 
  1.17  privilege of citizens to fish, hunt, and take game subject only 
  1.18  to restrictions as prescribed by law? 
  1.19                                     Yes .......
  1.20                                     No ........"
