A bill for an act
relating to state government; requiring websites maintained by executive branch
state agencies to include appropriate contact information, including at a minimum
the direct email address of the agency's commissioner or head; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2022, section 10.60, subdivision 2.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 10.60, subdivision 2, is amended to read:


Subd. 2.

Purpose of website and publications.

The purpose of a website and a
publication must be to provide information about the duties and jurisdiction of a state agency
or political subdivision or to facilitate access to public services and information related to
the responsibilities or functions of the state agency or political subdivision.new text begin A website
