  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to human services; adult mental health 
  1.3             services for deaf and hard-of-hearing persons; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $100,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of human services for a grant to a nonprofit agency 
  1.9   that is currently serving deaf and hard-of-hearing adults with 
  1.10  mental illness through residential programs and supported 
  1.11  housing outreach activities.  The grant must be used to expand 
  1.12  the services provided by the nonprofit agency to include 
  1.13  community support services for deaf and hard-of-hearing adults 
  1.14  with mental illness.
