relating to appropriations; appropriating money for a grant to the Houston
County Historical Society.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; HOUSTON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
BUILDING ADDITION.

new text begin $500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota Historical Society
for a grant to the Houston County Historical Society to design, construct, furnish, and
equip a building addition to the museum. This appropriation is not available until the
commissioner of finance has determined that at least an equal amount is committed to
the project from nonstate sources.
