A bill for an act
relating to health insurance; seeking federal approval to reduce Minnesota's
geographic rating areas to eight.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Sec. 1. new text begin MNSURE DESIGNATED RATING AREAS.

change the state's designated geographic rating areas from nine to eight for purposes of
setting health plan premiums under MNsure.
