  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to public administration; amending Minnesota 
  1.3             Statutes 1996, section 471.19.  
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 471.19, is 
  1.6   amended to read: 
  1.7      471.19 [RECREATION PROGRAM TO BE FOR EDUCATION PURPOSES.] 
  1.8      The facilities of any school district, operating a 
  1.9   recreation program pursuant to the provisions of sections 471.15 
  1.10  to 471.19 shall be used primarily for the purpose of conducting 
  1.11  the regular school curriculum and related activities and the use 
  1.12  of school facilities for recreational purposes authorized by 
  1.13  those sections shall be secondary.
