  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to workforce development; directing the 
  1.3             transfer of money from the assigned risk plan to the 
  1.4             workforce development fund. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [ASSIGNED RISK PLAN FUND TRANSFER.] 
  1.7      On or before July 10, 2002, the commissioner of commerce 
  1.8   and the commissioner of finance shall direct the transfer of 
  1.9   $50,000,000 from the excess surplus of the assigned risk plan to 
  1.10  the workforce development fund.  For the purposes of this 
  1.11  section, "excess surplus" has the meaning given in Laws 2000, 
  1.12  chapter 447, section 24, subdivision 1.
